Piles

Inflammation of blood vessels in the walls of the anus and rectum is called piles. These blood vessels act as shock absorbers for defecation throughout the body. It causes hemorrhoids, one of the main causes of rectal bleeding. Piles are swollen inside and around the lining of the buttocks or the lining of the anus.
